Following the resounding success of Vietnam’s first immersive night-time light tour — “Starry Fairyland of Penglai”, which once took social media by storm, BB Group Vietnam has once again joined forces with global cultural and tourism brand Vanyee to unveil a new artistic masterpiece: “The Epic of Au Lac” — a breathtaking water and light spectacle on Lake Suong Mai, marking another triumphant milestone in immersive entertainment.

“The Epic of Au Lac” is grandly staged at Suong Mai Lake – the heart of Delight Park Da Lat, spanning an impressive 39 hectares. Nestled among pristine mountains and forests, the lake merges with the cool night air to create a breathtakingly mystical atmosphere. Unlike any traditional stage model, the entire lake transforms into a colossal natural stage, opening a vast universe of art in the midst of poetic nature. This is not only Vietnam’s first-ever epic water and light show but also a nationally scaled artistic masterpiece deeply rooted in cultural heritage. Honoring the glorious historical journey of the Vietnamese people – from the dawn of creation to the Ho Chi Minh era – the show serves as a bridge between past and present, a heartfelt tribute to the sacred spirit of Vietnam’s mountains and rivers.

Centered around the symbolic “Magic Mirror” – a mystical portal connecting space and time – “The Epic of Au Lac” invites audiences on a mesmerizing journey through history. This is not merely a performance to watch, but a deeply immersive experience that allows viewers to step into the soul of the nation. The narrative unfolds in a grand epic structure with three main chapters: The Myth of Creation, A Flourishing Dynasty, and Liberation & Unity. Each chapter is a step on the historical staircase, guiding the audience from the cosmic origins with the Sky Pillar God, Lac Long Quan – Au Co, and the Hung Kings; through the golden age of state-building with Ly Thai To’s capital relocation, the valor of Tran Hung Dao, the compassion of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, and the diplomatic legacy of Princess Huyen Tran; to the proud milestones of the 20th century with President Ho Chi Minh’s ideals of independence and General Vo Nguyen Giap’s legendary victories.
